Like I stated, if you haven't read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, don't read this post. I don't want to spoil this wonderful book for you!
While I was not out there at 12:00 AM, I was there at 6:45 AM with my little Maria. Finished the next day... and didn't neglect the kids. (Thank goodness though it came out on a weekend so Joe could entertain the kids!)
If you have read it, like a true Potter fan, kudos to you! Wasn't it a fantastic book! Well done J.K., well done! She grabs you from the start, and yes, I was convinced Snape was evil. After reading the book, I still think he was evil, but I pitied him and his love for Lily. It was action packed, well thought out and just the right people died... except for Hedwig. Not necessary, and yes I cried at that part. While the whole ending might have been campy, I thought it was a perfect way to end. I love this book! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I love that it talked about the greater good, I loved that Harry would sacrifice for his friends... what a message to all out there. Hagrid and the spiders, "No! Don't hurt them." my favorite part of the whole book. Although, I had many favorite parts... it's so hard to decide.
On a side note, I think this book is wonderful, but at the same time I'm sad because I wish as much enthusiasm could be generated for such books like the Book of Mormon or Bible perhaps?
