March 23- Ladybug Lake

70 degrees. 100's of runners in packs. The most beautiful trail with the Austin city in the background. Soft dirt/asphalt. I give Austin running a 8/10.... the heat is a little bit killer but everything else is AMAZING.

March 10 - Getting Ready for Eugene

I was able to pace my 20 at 10 min miles. That was pretty cool. Although I was definitely beat after!! I'm averaging around 35 miles a week. Loving the Aidas Pro 4's.

Nov. 11- Marathon Around Town #7

Alex and I ran a marathon. Just us. Around the neighborhood. It was super fun. I had done a 20 miler 2 weeks before and think I needed a little more rest time, but we still finished. I need knee braces and more liquid. NO NIKE SHORTS!!!

July 21- Castle Georgios

Heat runner!!! 85 degrees and still out there!! Sidenote I was supposed to pay 5 euros to get to the top of the hill. I didn't have it on me so I didn't actually get to see the castle. But I did the hill and the heat trained my body.

July 15- Morning Run on my Yaiya's Island

There was a small dirt road by our air bnb that led to the sea. IT WAS SO HOT. I learned how to heat run!! It changed my body for sure running in the heat. I was able to run about 6 miles total down to Platis Gialos beach. You can see the airplanes taking off and landing and the brown sand doesn't stick to your feet. It's quite the morning run.

May 17- Homeless

Sometimes you need to use the bathroom and a homeless man and his bike are locked in. And it scares you. But you still have to use the bathroom so.

April 5- 18 miler to The Colony

I finally ran all the way down to the Indian Colony. 1,200 elevation gain. 18 miles. Passed a guy in the army and some guy dressed all in black that snuck into a bush. Fun times running by yourself as a woman!! My pace was 10:30 miles

March 29- 20 Miles Done and Did

Eugene Ready!! It was perfect weather by the way. Running 16 in the cold and wind really made this one a lot nicer!!

Jan. 25- Running and 1st Snow of the season

It was pretty cold temperatures. I did my first 13 degree run. That's Eli just lying belly down in the snow. I'm so glad he still takes the time to have fun.

July 15- Shiloh Hills

Dropping elevation from Reno to California is always such a blast. I felt like I could run for days and the air was butter. With a heat wave in Reno, I was finding it incredibly hard to run at the higher temps in the morning. Come to California, and welcome to the 50's and 60's again. LIFE. I got in an 8:06 minute mile to start and then climbed some elevation and slowed it down. I felt like I was in a dream. Whenever I'm at the top of a mountain I feel God so close. I know of His love for me and the safety and health He blesses me with. I cry sometimes, often still, but the hurt passes in waves. I feel this underlying safety in knowing that my God will not leave me.
