March 29 - Mini Golf Magic Carpet

When I was a little girl my parents used to take me here. It's been so long and it was such a beautiful evening to spend some time together. We all need some practice!

 

Nov. 30- Goldust West

It's very depressing at the Goldust West in Carson City. I don't recommend going there. 

 

Nov.22 - Rocket Club and The Temptations

Elijah has really taken to his leadership talent with starting the rocket club and the drone club. He is able to coordinate and send people where they need to be. 

Jody and I went to see the temptations. It was fun. They were so talented and the music was amazing. We also got to see the four tops.

 

Aug. 17- It's not Greece and there is no where to go all dressed up

Are we glad to be back at the movies with popcorn? Yes.

Is there anywhere to dress up and go for dinner? No.

Greece we miss you. The adjustment back is hard.

 

June 19- Special Day with Dad

While Eli was at his Civil Air Encampment in Wendover, Utah... our home was unusually quiet. Jody took the girls for a surprise electric bike ride in Tahoe and they LOVED it!!! They went to the beach and when it was a little too cold, Jody had everyone pack up and eat lunch. They really had a wonderful time and the day could be summed up as GIRL DAD!!!

 

March 8- Thrift and Shop

Eli had to have a new computer. For $9 at Savers. He brought it home for a day and worked on it. It still does not work. We also took Ella to see a great movie about women from Afghanistan who were on a robotics team. Apparently women can't even use computers there. It was brutal and amazing all at the same time. We explored Junkee and called it a day.

 

March 7- Family BINGO night with Papa's Fake Real Estate Agent

This was a fun one. We had EVERYONE together!!! We enjoyed free tacos, BINGO, trivia and even won raffle prizes!!! I won the first raffle and got bath and body works items, Eli got a super cool car toy, Papa got a pyschic reading he gave to Maria.... Papa won the blackout and got us beautiful NV macarons. It was just highly enjoyable!!! Super random, but well worth it.

 

Nov. 24- Wicked

 

Oct. 26- Trunk or Treat with Old Students

Goats. Puppet Shows that teach about not being angry and finding Jesus, and old students make for the win!!

 

Oct. 25- Pumpkin Patch, Killer Goats, and Nuts

Pumpkin patches are so expensive and they smell like manure. But it seems like a token thing to do, so we did. Eli was messing with a goat who didn't like that. Ella loved the goats. We enjoyed a hayride. And then we headed over to a trunk or treat at Northern Nevada Medical Center. It was small, but free candy. Ella used her dad's Patagonia bag.... bougie. And we ended with a trip to Grocery Outlet for NUTS FOR THE WIN!!!!!! What we would be passing out for the ward trick or treat night... yes I was that person!!
