April 28- The Break Up and Nina's famous

The break up with Saul was really sad. There were no hard feelings or anger. It really was just sad. We'll always love Saul.

In the mean time Christina is finding solace in friends and finding herself and who she is. And she was photographed by a famous Reno guy and made it to the insta page.

Sept. 23- Christina turns 21!!

Today I was listening to Musiq Soulchild Half Crazy. It's amazing how connected to a memory of rocking Christina I am with this song. It overwhelms me. The memory of her small little body in my arms. The joy I felt. The knowledge of my Creator. The wonder and the sense of this divine miracle I held.
I cannot begin to describe or ever put it into words what it's like to have the privilege of being this sweet girl's mother. She truly is heaven here on this earth. We had a very simple birthday for her of sushi and ice cream cake. It was wonderful to just be together. Christina at 21 is her own individual. She's healthy and kind and always serving others with a smile. She is our go to medic and jeopardy anatomy category winner. I am so very proud of who she is. I know our angels above are also smiling in wonder at who she is and is becoming.

May 14- Nina has pneumonia

At 8 we left for the ER and at 4AM with left with a diagnosis. Thank goodness for good doctors and medicine!! Nina was exhausted and has had a terrible cough for 9 days. She's going to have to slow down for awhile and get better!! It was nice for Jody to come after his only graduation of the year and spend 8 hours with homeless people that are going to shoot up the place and then we have to save the black kid in a wheelchair named Tobias. Plus the pharmacy tech said it would be 5 minutes and it ended up being 40.We were exhausted to say the least but we are so grateful to Heavenly Father that Nina ended up OK.

April 10- The EMT

We are so very proud of Christina. She passed her EMT test with a 90% for REMSA. She put in a lot of hours and hard work and was very successful. From drunks foaming at the mouth at bar gutters to calming down a woman with severe anxiety, her ride alongs were very productive and she proved calm in the face of high stress. Everyone is now going to her in the family with our medical problems.

Jan. 31- THE EMT!!!!!!!!!

Our amazing Nina is taking some time off from college to pursue a dream of being an EMT. She has been learning all about how to support people in an emergency and has excelled at her REMSA (the hardest) course out there. We are so very proud of her. Of all our children.

God has truly blessed us.

Sept 11- Smoke Day and Fishing

Randomly, there was a fire in the Davis Creek area that caused a couple fire days that we don't have to make up because it was a state of emergency. Christina took Eli out fishing and I went to the temple. It was a peaceful day, or as peaceful as it could be. So grateful for my son in heaven who is helping me through the very worst trial I could possibly go through. He lifts my spirits that constantly seem fallen.

We needed time with our big girls so we headed to the GSR (on a Monday) and enjoyed a late night performance from Stephen Sanchez! We got to move up and see him up close!!! He was a great performer with good songs and an amazing voice!
