2nd Annual Women's March
Melinda Gates has said, "A woman with a voice is inherently a strong woman."
There are so many woman who are silenced by abuse, by social pressure, by poverty.
It was wonderful to gather together to raise our voices in unison that women are important. Women need to be valued more. Women have a voice.
I pray my daughters grow up to know the value in themselves and in others. I pray Elijah will be a man who is considerate of women and the blessing they are.
A lot of people showing solidarity and unity in love.
It was a good day!!!

Winter Break
Winter break was a dud! We were all rotating through sicknesses the entire time!! But we are grateful. If we weren't sick, we wouldn't appreciate being healthy.
Plus we got to watch a lot of videos.
Grateful it wasn't anything too serious.
Papa on the other hand....
Glad Papa is feeling better after a serious bout with his flu!!
Poor Eli... when you have 3 sisters you're always the prince. Fortunately, he doesn't mind too much.

Ella had a wonderful time in Primary and enjoyed making her special crown that said I am a Child of God.
Haircuts with Papa at Guys & Dolls
Was I a little leary of the hair shop next door to the plasma center? Maybe.
When I saw the 80's posters of glam aquanet hair spray, was I a bit worried? Maybe.
But in reality, if someone has "frumpy" hair do you really want them cutting your hair?
Who knew $10 could look so good! Never judge a book by it's cover.
Ella has pretty thin and scraggly hair, but the bob looks good!!
The lady had Eli's hair perfect, then kept cutting. But he is handsome!! And I freely admit she did a much better job than I ever did.
My favorite was that she had a German accent and told him if he moved she would cut him.
Just kidding.
She said he would be there all day and not to move!!!

Happy New Year!!!!! 2018
Church, Fallon, and Papa's for appetizers!!
It was a good night. Not too cold in Fallon and everything started right on time!
Ella was so excited! She loved the fireworks and cheered each and every time. Although, after 10 minutes she was done. She was hungry!!
But before we go, burn all the bad of 2017! Send away all the negative and embrace the good. Have hope for the New Year!!! Or just enjoy the fire. Because fire is awesome. Especially really big fires.
Valerian anyone? Why yes please.
Not too bad, not too great.
And Ella ate one too many strawberries. And had one too many glasses of Sparkling Apple Cider.
Hooray for spending the night at Papa's and barfing.
