June 20- Dry Pond Cut short, Early Swim Mornings and More Water Time

Really odd, but on my run by myself at Dry Pond a woman told me there was a man dressed in all black acting really funny by the bridge. She had turned around and normally never says anything but wanted to let me know. I got a bad feeling and the distinct impression to end my run and turn around. I wasn't happy about that. I don't like that as a woman I don't have the strength to defend myself. Or that I have to be so careful. What can you do though? I'm grateful I'm safe. Eli has had 6:15 AM morning swim practices and it's been to nice to run errands together afterwards. He is such a great helper. And then of course, end the day with some sun and water fun time. We are very blessed to be able to be happy this summer and relax.

May 27- Ready for Summer

When the sun shines, life is so good. I was definitely ready for a better summer this year and there was no better way to start than with a Donner Run. I was a little tired from the Wildcat Race, but it was refreshing and good for the soul. I couldn't ask for a better best friend. I'm so grateful for Alex.

And passes are bought for Wild Waters so me and Ella are going with her friends for a few hours here and there and getting our Vitamin D!! Plus she has gone on Scorpion which she said she'd never do.

Wild Waters

It was not overly hot, but we still made it to opening weekend and enjoyed the relaxing sunshine.

Wild Waters

I am so grateful at least 1 thing has been open this summer!!! We have had a wonderful time going with each other and friends. It's been calming and a great way to get some time out of the house because of COVID.

Also as a side note, sometimes I just write about things that are positive but on this trip we had a young man who was super rude to Maria and called her a bad name. She handled herself really well but I was ready to kill the kid. We never found him, but he would have gotten a good talking to.

Life is wonderful. Sometimes there are yucky things we have to deal with. It helps to have friends you can count on. I know Maria had a great time with her friends even though this happened. She loved going down slides with them!
