Sledding!

The kids and I headed up to Mt. Rose meadows and it was absolutely lovely. It wasn't too crowded, the weather wasn't frigid, and we had good gear to keep us warm. Although it did take a good 15 minutes trying to get out of the house.... did you remember?? We had a great drive up and down. We walked up the hill to sled 100 times... or so it felt like. And we ate some snow too. It was really fun and a great way to end winter break.

Yuba Pass Snow Park

Social Distancing in the mountains! We were going to go hike the Buttes, however.... it was a bit much on the snow. So instead we enjoyed a beautiful drive and some fun time in the snow.

Who needs to get out some energy?!?! Just grab some wood and a tire iron and start hitting the snow. YES!!!

We also had the loss of a shoe. RIP Maria's 4 year old Brooks that were a hand me down from Nina.

Ella got stuck many times and was rescued by Papa and Maria.

Eli threw 1 too many snowballs and was often wrestled into the snow.

It was just lovely to get out.
