Writing Sample: Sweetness

This is one of Christina's smaller samples by far, but I loved it. She is quite the writer and loves to sound out things. She did this really quick, but I love the vocabulary used.
"From your precious daughter Christina"

2 hours and Sunday after the Birthday Party... No Joke.

Snowmen pancakes to celebrate the snow.
A bit much yes? We had sunshine and perfection for Maria's party. Does God love my little girl or what!!!!!!!!! We wouldn't have been able to do half the fun things we did, He listens and blesses us with miracles constantly. This was a super big miracle, so Thanks Heavenly Father.
Aren't his little feet cold?

I told Joe the snowman semi resembles him.

2 hours after the party. Woah Nell-ae.

I heart Hawaii.
And there was so much church was even cancelled!

Overkill Warning- Toooooo Many Birthday Pictures!! BARBIE DIAMOND CASTLE BIRTHDAY PARTY

Ok, so for some reason, I can't put the pictures in the order I want... Go fig.

But here was the basic layout. We started off when the kids came in by making/decorating their own guitar (out of posterboard). I read the Barbie Diamond Castle book to the children (there were 17!!! :) ) so they could understand a little of what we were doing. We played Pass the Mirror (like hot potatoe) because in the movie, Melody is trapped in a Mirror. Next we did a guessing game, who has the heart necklace. (The princesses are protected because they were heart necklaces). We did a hidden instrument hunt. I had found instrument ornaments on clearance for 5 cents after clearance. I hid them outside and off they went. Next we had a diamond walk (like a cake walk) and the kids could get play dough and rice crispy treats. We had pizza, salad and fruit on a picnic blanket in the house. Then we did the pinata that I made... yes, I made it. Milk box from costco, crepe paper from the dollar store, an enlarged pic. I had of slider and Olivia, lots of hot glue and voila. We had a diamond castle cake, cupcakes and ice cream... Opened gifts and I had treat bags for the kiddos to take home of barbies, nail polish, glitter eye shadow, make your own candy necklace and a barbie magic coloring book. Each of these for the girls probable cost 50 cents total because again, 90% off clearance for Christmas at Michaels. The boys got a giant Mr. Goodbar because I really couldn't think of anything for them. Hooray for sugar!!

The Old Folk.
Maria if she were an amputee.

The guitars.
We love our friends!!!
I know, her outfit is perfect. Sooo cute I could eat her.

Where did all this fun come from? Our awesome friends and family who are way too kind! Thanks everyone!!
Doesn't this look like a magazine shot? Or one of those pictures that already comes in a frame?
We love our cousins!!! They are the best!!!

An instrument from the instrument hunt! (In the movie they are in search of the diamond castle which is the birthplace of all music... I know. Not my favorite Barbie Movie, but I would do ANYTHING for my little ladies!!)

Also, there would be no pictures if it weren't for my super amazing... like seriously, I can't even stress amazing and super enough... cousin Kimmy. She took all the pictures and is just overall one of the most thoughtful people you'd ever meet.

My Maria - 3 Years of Bliss

3 years old.
The day you were born, I never knew I could be so happy.
My dress up queen.
Even with your freaky make up, you're still more beautiful than the most beautiful sunrise.
Sweet Angel Child- Happy Birthday!
Loved by your sister,
Your daddy,
your brother, your Yaya, Papa and Yaya Sofia....
But most adored by your mother. You've always been "mine". And I'll always be yours.
Maria has been the easiest, most loving, kind little child you'd ever meet. She is a laaaaaaaady!!! 110% all girl. She can go through clothes faster than a drag queen at Sears. Work it girl. She loves anything Barbie. She will amaze you with her testimony and knowledge of the gospel. She is hilarious. She has the best laugh. She flirts with boys. She can sing on key every time! She has rhythm and excellent timing. She is brilliant. She can recognize letters, numbers, draw circles, straight lines and spirals. She can organize the letters in her name to spell it properly. She cries at 90% of all movies because she is extremely emphathetic. She helps always with a smile. She never throws tantrums. She loves to play with older children, yet she could have sat for hours holding her brother. She can't pedal a bike... but can run like the wind and name 10 different types of dinosaurs. She is perfection.

We Heart Parks.

Do you see them holding hands... definition of adorable!!

Poor Yaya. We got her out of the house and then she caught a cold!
Favorite things to do at the park: Swing, Gather trash to make art, and explore with friends!
