Summer Vacation: Grand Finale!!

Jay woke up and took Eli to his airport hanger. Eli got to learn a little about planes and see some fun toys!!!

We then headed to Santa Monica Beach!!
WOW!!!
What a gorgeous place!!!

We lucked out and got to see some lifeguard and beach competitor races!! Really cool to watch!!

Jay took me to the adult playground and we had a blast!!!

Like mother like daughter climbing ropes!!!
It took me a few tries, but I got to the top!!! So did Jay!!

We did the rings and enjoyed crazy athletic people doing cool stunts and stretching.

We strolled the pier and checked out the sights.

There was so much to look at!! I love LA!!!! I love how diverse it is and how happy everyone is at the beach!!

Jay made this awesome pic for us!!! LOVE IT!!!

After a glorious day in the sun and surf, we enjoyed The Stand!!! It was the perfect meal to end the day.

We played some games together, watched a little TV, and called it a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next morning it was time to head back unfortunately. I feel like we could breathe in LA. I ran their big ol' hill by the house and it was beyond fantastic to be with family. They are so supportive and loving.
My kids were beyond happy and so was I.

It was an indescribable trip!!! Perfect in every way!!
Thanks Jay and Rachel!!!!

Summer Vacation: Chilin' at the house & more!!!

I cannot overstate how awesome Jay and Rachel's pad is!!!

I felt so relaxed and peaceful resting on the lounge chair!!!
The little ones LOVED using Jay's binoculars to look at all the fun stuff in the city.

In the evening we headed out for some LA vibes!! Jay took us to the LDS temple which was gorgeous! It's such a magnificent place and the gardens are impeccable. Holiness to the Lord forever.

Next was the chaos of trying to figure out the movie in the cemetery scene!! But we made it, thanks to Jay's super driving skills. He drove us in his brand new Suburban the entire time!!! SUCH A LUXURY!!!! I was stress free!!!! OMG!!!! It made my trip!!!

He pulled a u-turn over a double yellow line and saved us probably a 30 minute wait in traffic. Well done sir. We found a great spot, enjoyed some pizza and kettlecorn... and then!!! THEN!!!!

I THINK WE'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER BOAT!!!!!!

Such a great movie!!! It was thrilling, campy, yet so well done!! Definitely a classic!! And we loved watching people die!!!

Ella passed out for a little bit. I could stare at her sleeping face for hours. I always feel so very grateful for the moments when she is asleep in my arms. They are fleeting moments that I won't get to have much longer.
My children are my everything.

This day was a blast!!! I don't know how the days could get better and better, but they sure did with Jay and Rachel!!!
