This class is a Godsend. Every day I go to work and am happy. They fill my life with happiness when often I find myself sad.

 

June 10- Last Day of School

DONE!!!!! FREE!!!!!!

 

June 5- Discovery Museum Field Trip

We lucked out and got our field trip on the very last day you can do field trips. I was with 1 student the whole time because so many moms came to chaperone. He rode the elevator 12 times at least. We had a good time and I was definitely exhausted by the end of the day.

 

June 3- My 1,000 student

I've never had a student with such number sense!! He got the pattern, he had the work ethic, and I was so very proud of him.

 

May 31- My little buddies

I'm blogging after the dates, trying to catch up, so right now when I'm relaxed I can say how much I miss these little boogers. However, the last days of school were rough, not going to lie! This group was by far my hardest group and yet also my hardest little workers. The longer I teach the more I realize that they want to do their best it's just sometimes they don't have the tools they need. So I'm grateful for years of experience and learning new techniques each year. I just want them to feel safe, know how very special they are, and succeed.

 

May 10- End of the Year Work Party

This year was rough. By the end of it I was done. Love the students, love the staff, love the curriculum... wish I got paid more. But grateful for some time with work friends. 

 

Feb. 2- 100th Day of School

Man this class has been one! Lots of work, but absolutely amazing little individuals that I love. Olivia makes it so much better and fun!
