Dec. 23- Mount Olympus Puzzle Room

We had such a nice night watching Nina and Maria figure out a puzzle room. Eli played the harp and was able to help us get another clue. We enjoyed pizza together and macarons at a new place at Legends. It was lovely to be together. I can't believe I blinked and have a bunch of beautiful and amazing young adults.

Dec. 6- Christmas Dates

So glad she still loves build a bear and is innocent and kind and wonderful. Recently she had some "friends" make fun of her and feel bad because she has stuffed animals. She decided to eat lunch with others who were nicer.

Christmas Dates- Peppermill Game Lab

Eli was really excited for his date to the Peppermill. We were going to go to need to speed after but he wore flip flops!!!!!! So last minute we changed it up to the game lab. After a yummy dinner and dessert... yes to banana splits!!! We headed up!!

Did I know Jody was an expert at Pac Man. No I did not. He can still surprise me after all these years.

Within 5 minutes Eli was running around like a chicken on LSD. He swipes his card on this one game, is ADD looking around at all the neon lights and happens to hit the button... and land on the grand prize of 1,500 tickets.

Needless to say he got some pretty cool swag with that magical button push!!

We had a great time playing games together. We had the whole lab to ourselves... COVID plus!!

Christmas Dates- Build a Bear

We had such a lovely night with our Ella. 6 is a pretty magical age... of course I might be biased as I teach first grade.

We ate at Blaze pizza and Alllllllllllllllllllllllll day Ella was asking how long until 6PM!!! Fortunately Daddy showed up 2 hours early for our date. Ella was thrilled!!

We made it with 1 minute to spare on the Zoo drive around in a circle in the mall ride. I was hoping she would just take off and see what happens, but she followed the rules and drove in a circle.

Fluffy and Sparkles, our newest friends.

It was a great time together. We are so blessed to be able to do this together.

Christmas Dates- Escape Room

It was our 2nd attempt, 1st time together, doing an escape room. We started with a lovely dinner at Bawarchi and headed out in the cold to an adventure at Yellowstone to save the world from a volcanic eruption. We didn't save the world but we did save ourselves with 30 seconds to spare.

Everyone worked well together and it was super fun to figure stuff out, even though it was a bit stressful!

I love that the older girls wanted to spend their date with us together. I'm so happy that they are best friends.

I also randomly broke my favorite pair of wedges. Sigh.
