Maria Drives

We lucked out on finding a car for Maria!!! I looked on craigslist and we found this car for $2000. The family was so kind that sold it to us. We drove to a town by the Sierra Buttes to pick it up. It does have a lot of mileage and is very old, but so far (knock on wood) it gets her where she needs to be. She cleaned the inside and is taking really good care of it. It has a smilely face on the side and she has yet to name it.

 

Mother Dear I Love You So

Mother's Day was absolutely lovely. I am so spoiled to have the children and family that I do. It started with fresh pancakes by Eli and Ella. Eli wanted to make blueberry sauce but we didn't have cornstarch. He started to WINCO and his tire blew out! He didn't give up though. He took Ella's bike and after he left the store, he had a flat tire. Some nice guy helped him pump it up. Then the bike chain fell off. He was able to fix it. But all that work, just to make me breakfast. So sweet and thoughtful. I felt very loved.

The girls made me the most beautiful heart felt cards and I got flowers from Nina and my dad.  My dad cooked lunch and we went to church. I am very blessed to be a mother, I consider it my most important and sacred duty in this life.

 

School Glow Party

This was an amazing day at school. We had 45 of pure club up in the lunchroom. I didn't know, but it was my last day with one of my very favorite students, Cheerful. He up and moved in the night. He was such an amazing, kind, fun, and happy little boy. He was the epitome of cool.

They played La Chona, we did the conga line, we did the cupid shuffle, and it was hot inside! I had a student twerking and trying to take off his clothes. 

 

Jack and Emma's Wedding

We headed to the boonies! 1 and 1/2 hours later we were at the most beautiful farm albeit it was freezing cold. Mia did the most beautiful job setting up a hot chocolate and snack bar. The ceremony was quick and I was glad we had blankets!! There was dancing and good food and crazy Greek people that we got to have a great time with. Somehow 5 hours flew by and we called it a day. Eli was obsessed with the smores bar and made friends with some college kids. The star of the show was Papa.... his moves are on video and he's going to go viral.
