May 20- Island of the Sun
Ella got the lead narrator part in the 5th grade play. She worked hard for months memorizing her lines and did a phenomenal job. She was animated, clear, and vibrant! We were so proud of her!!!
May 17- Homeless
Sometimes you need to use the bathroom and a homeless man and his bike are locked in. And it scares you. But you still have to use the bathroom so.

May 15- Bike Ride Time
I need to invest in good bikes for us. Eli and I had an amazing sunset ride in the cloudy weather for 10 miles. He jets on that thing!! I had to switch to his small bike and my legs were so sore! Best part of my week with my buddy!!
May 14- Nina has pneumonia
At 8 we left for the ER and at 4AM with left with a diagnosis. Thank goodness for good doctors and medicine!! Nina was exhausted and has had a terrible cough for 9 days. She's going to have to slow down for awhile and get better!! It was nice for Jody to come after his only graduation of the year and spend 8 hours with homeless people that are going to shoot up the place and then we have to save the black kid in a wheelchair named Tobias. Plus the pharmacy tech said it would be 5 minutes and it ended up being 40.We were exhausted to say the least but we are so grateful to Heavenly Father that Nina ended up OK.
May 11- Mother's Day Sickness
Mother's Day was absolutely amazing! One thing that was a little sad though was everyone was deathly ill. Knocked out!!!
Eli and I were ok so we went to Papa's for a lovely hamburger lunch.
I was very spoiled and have a NEW KITCHEN AID MIXER!!!! It is the prettiest thing I've ever seen and I'm so excited that I have one that is not dying!!
Maria spent weeks and countless hours on a beautiful blanket that all my friends are coveting. I got beautiful cards and messages that filled my heart. Being a mother is the greatest thing I've ever done with my life and my children are my everything. They are my reason for breathing and my greatest joy. I am so very proud of who they are and all they do.
May 9- School Assembly Mama Shark
We had a fun school assembly where Amanda got clearance blow up costumes off Temu. The students had to guess what teacher was in the costume. We had a dance off and the kids went wild. It was so much fun!!

May 7- Special Sealings
I sealed my mother to her parents today. It was so special and overwhelming. I feel so grateful to my mother and Yaiya and all they gave me. They taught me about God. They taught me how to love others. They taught me generosity and patience. I can't even adequately mention how much I love them and the influence they had on me. They made me who I am. I saw them and wanted to be just like them. To know they are together forever is overwhelming. I am so grateful to God for His divine plan.
May 6 through 8- Las Vegas Work Trip
Jody and I had a jam packed 3 days of traveling to Las Vegas. We ate well, Greek food that was to die for, and enjoyed rain!! It got hotter and we hiked in the Red Rock State area. Thank goodness for streams!! I don't know how people survive the heat. Las Vegas is not my favorite place but it was nice to spend time together. Christina and Maria got sick while we were away with some pretty nasty fevers. Christina had a horrible cough and it turned to hives.
