Happy Father's Day!!

We are very lucky to have Jody as our daddy. He works so hard to provide for us.

I've really tried hard to take a step back and look at things from his perspective. He has a highly stressful job, he's dealing with racism and heavy things on a daily basis, he is helping students with highly emotional struggles. He deals with a lot.

And yet, with all this... he still manages to make time for a game of basketball. Or cuddle a child on the couch to watch a movie. He spends 2 hours in the deep end of the wave pool with Elijah. He holds the bag for leaves while Nina rakes.

He did what he had to do to get his education and didn't let anything deter him. I admire that. I am so proud of him.

He has been helping out a lot around the house. I'm so grateful for that.

He is very loved. He is a good father and we are blessed because of him.

I am waiting on some great pics from Maria from old photo albums with my dad and I.

I am so grateful for my dad. My dad has always been there for me. I know that no matter what I can always go to him for help and love. Case in point, we are crashing at his house while our floors get done.

My dad also worked very hard to provide for me in life. Because of him and my mother, I never knew anything other than a stable life full of love and joy. I look through old pictures and can only feel grateful. Grateful for a life filled with happy memories.

Happy Father's Day to the very best dads ever!!

Mt. Rose in 7 hours

We started off the hike and it was taking a bit. I ended up pretty grumpy at our pace. Jody described it as shuffling in high heels.... lots of abrupt stopping too. But we made it.

Ella... 6 years old!!!!!!!!!!! And she made it!!!
I did carry her quite a few times, but she did the majority.

Eli has enough energy to power a nuclear submarine. He did great. We ate a really nice burger at Inclined in Incline Village. Eli made a friend with a white guy who has a mustache there. Total hipster. They fist bumped.

We got them root beer floats and they were SO HAPPY!!! They were high fiving over everything after a sugar pick me up. It was hilarious. Chicken strips!!! HIGH FIVE!!!!!!! Then lots of giggles.

It took awhile but they did great!!

Bike Riding Expert

Nina really wanted to teach Ella to ride a bike and she did!!! Ella caught on quite quick!!

We were so lucky that my principal was giving away a bike!!! Trolls for free!!

Snapchat at the park

There have been so many secrets in my life or things that were hid from me that I tend to hate even the thought of snapchat. I forum where you can do or say whatever and then bam... it's erased.

At least it's fun to play around with at the park with my Niners.

Farad Hot Springs with RAM ON BEST FRIEND DAY

I have the very very very best friend on earth in Ramya!! She is my hero in every single way. Except that she wants to play guitar hero with my boyfriend.... (INSIDE JOKE)

She is so beautiful. I hate taking pictures with her. But she knows angles and lighting. And whatever, we are hot for almost 40. She still passes for 20 and I sound like I'm 13. It's all just numbers.

Ella loves Ramya as a second mother.

Eli was driving me nuts. He needs open space that child. He needs sticks and bushes to whack and rocks to throw. LOVE that kiddo!!!

Teefy!!!!!! I can't wait until he's in the NFL. Seriously, I cannot wait.

It was a wonderful day with our friends. We are blessed.

Daddy Fun

The last week of school was a bit hectic. Just a lot of stuff to get done. Joe was watching the kids and decided to get out of the house. They had a blast and it was Ella's first time driving a race car at Need 2 Speed!! She was hooked and asks every day if she can go.

They also had fun playing some mini-golf.

BLM 2020 Reno Protest

Nothing changes. I wonder when it will.

In the meantime I continue to teach children the power of love, the power of kindness, the power of listening, the power of hope.

500 pieces

I don't know why we are doing these. But we are.

Papa Turns 701

I usually have millions of birthday candles and 2 minutes before I realized we didn't. I'm trying to do better about not shopping on Sunday, I got into a bad habit for a few months, but I realize it's an important commandment and I'll be blessed if I do what is right.

Anyways, Eli to the rescue!!! He made Papa a 70! We had a great dinner together. We had a ZOOM meeting with our family the next day. Maria made a great powerpoint presentation that had a hilarious ending!!

Tobi brought her dog Oliver and the kids were in 7th heaven. He was super cute.

I love my dad. He is the best dad one could ever ask for. He has done nothing but love and support me my entire life. He has given me everything. He has helped me when I needed help, he has listened when I needed someone to talk to, and he has been my calm during storms. I'm so grateful for his example of service and compassion. I hope he never gets the corona virus or stung by murder hornets.
