Nail polish "fun" by Ella- 1 hour of scrubbing to clean Mommy's bathroom

1 spilt star bottle on playroom floor, stain looks like Satan smiling

Expo marker "fun" by Ella- 20 minutes scrubbing to clean floor (But it did come off!!!)

Gluestick artwork on playroom walls... haven't attempted to even start that one

 

Thank you Father that we have a home, that I have children who love to express themselves, and that magic erasers were invented.

VSA Summer Art Free Day

 

They had great projects and the kids made some beautiful summer art!!
It was so amazing! As the kids get bigger it's just easier and easier!!

7/11 Free Slurpie Day

 

It's been a long time since they have had a slurpie! In fact I think it was Ella's first!!

Papa got in line for us pretty early and it ended up being pointless.

But so glad he got to chat with friends.

We really enjoyed our swag bags!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got all sorts of healthy goodies and water bottles.

We enjoyed the new pool and playing the bounce houses!! Very fun day!!

Summer Hiking with Snow!!!!

 

I was really excited to try Mt. Rose with the kids.

Unfortunately, there was STILL SNOW!!!!

 

We did 1/2 a mile and lost the trail because of the snow cover.

I guess we will have to try again in September!!!

 

Our 12 year old backpack finally bit the dust. Our new Osprey carrier is basically the Tesla of packs. I can't even begin!!! LOVE!!!!!

 

It was a rough winter for the NV sign.

We headed to the meadows and enjoyed a lovely picnic among the buttercups. It was so peaceful and quiet. Gorgeous!!

My Spectacular Father

 

As my mom would say, "You know. Your dad is a really good man."

There would be a heavy sigh. A nodding of the head, and a tear or two.

 

My dad was going to Costco and asked if I needed anything. I said maybe some fruit.

 

And then I woke up from a nap with Ella to find my kitchen table covered in fruit. No seriously.

 

2 watermelons

3 cantaloupes

apples

peaches

box of oranges (probably 20)

2 packages blackberries

blueberries

2 huge packages grapes

2 huge pages strawberries

1 pineapple

1 huge bunch bananas

 

This was the nicest thing EVER. I felt so loved.

The kids were in 7th heaven.

There were seriously screams.

PAPA IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no comparison.

 

Plus, we got to spend the day watching Netflix and eating all his food at his house. Seriously, we are so spoiled.
