Aug. 23- Things Break

Our pipe burst. We couldn't see to turn off the water. We were sprayed with a high power fountain of water and yet we kept working together. Jody figured out how to turn off the main by the sidewalk and the chaos was ended after 30 minutes of flooding.
We do work together well. We do love our home.
We just annoy each other a lot and Jody's choices are the worst.
So who knows if we'll make it or not. God is a God of miracles so it's in His hands.
Eli is cool. He's doing a lot to secure his future in the air.

Oregano Harvest

4 1/2 mason jars!! I was worried during our trip that the oregano would have passed their prime, but it was perfect. The littles worked very hard to get everything in the jars!!!

Party Hard, Sleep Hard

We have been having so much fun with our friends the McMillens this summer. We've had many sleepovers, meals, and good times at the lake. Life is such a joy because of them.

They are such a blessing to our family. It's been nice too to have our home clean- new floors and carpet!!! for all to enjoy. It's been a busy summer of getting our home organized and ready for the new school year. Home truly is a heaven on earth.

Delayed Start Snow Day

Watching them play in the snow is better than TV!!! So entertaining and fabulous.

Licking snow off the window, just rolling in the snow...
they are the best kiddos on earth. I am so blessed!

Eli's snowsuit was a bit snug. Maria called it his thong.

Maria also chose an interesting Christmas station for us.... Christmas Trap music.
hahahahaha

We enjoyed snowmen pancakes and eggs. So nice to have a relaxing morning!!

Violated

I'm not going to lie, this was kinda an eye opener. I run my mouth quite a bit and often joke about egging... sure I'm joking...

But after this, I don't even think I'd wish it on Ram's ex. And that's saying a lot right there.

It was so humbling to wipe scrub off something that was meant to hurt or deface something I love. I don't know who did it. I talked with my neighbor and his house has been egged a couple times.

I filed a police report. I don't know if we were targeted personally, I'd like to think we weren't... but either way, I thought it was best.

There were probably about 8 eggs total. The hard thing is one is where I couldn't reach. I used the hose, but it still might leach the paint.

I still have to clean our window screen and overall just feel really sad about it all.

Play Time

I cleaned out the playroom and did an overhaul. It's painted green, new car bed for Eli....

And cleared a lot of stuff out!!

We can breathe!! Everyone knows where stuff is (and belongs) and it's funner to play!!

Yard Werrrrrk

Christina is working on Personal Progress and decided to do work to start a garden. It's at least a 10 hour project and she got in her first 3 hours.

At first I was really worried. Do they know how to work? There was shuffling of feet, shrieking... however, both her and Maria really dug in and got A LOT of work done.

We all worked together to clean up leaves and the garden. We still have more to do, but it was a fabulous start!

Christmas Festivities

Christmas Candles.....so sweet. It turned out beautiful!!! She is so focused!!!

His little details make me happy, like one circle around one eye.

This year Christina and Maria got new glitter stockings. I also went through my decorations and only kept the ones I really loved. Most were from my mom or ones the kids made. And of course, one must keep the nutcrackers Yaya Sofia gives you.

Our Apple Tree

Who knew we had an apple? We sure didn't!! Until this year when it exploded with apples. We had a fun time, even though it was a bit blustery, gathering together what we could!
The girls made applesauce and cider.... yummy!!!
