Annie The Musical!!

Maria tried out for the school musical and got a lead part, Mr. Warbuck's secretary Grace. She was FANTASTIC!!!

She was clear. She spoke at a good pace.
She was animated.
She smiled.
But what I enjoyed the most personally, was her on pitch sweet voice to the songs.

To say I'm proud would be an understatement.
She truly is a little star and she shines.

Glad Papa and Daddy could make it.
Daddy even surprised all the children with flowers.

Stephanie, the director, is phenomenal. She is so patient and loving. She volunteers to do this and always does a great job!!!

Love you Maria!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So proud of you!!!!!

El Mohawk

Because I love my Yaiyia, Eli was not allowed to keep a Mohawk. But it was pretty fun. He kinda loved it. Wild child.

Maria's 10th Birthday!! Movie Night!!!

My beautiful little soul, Maria. This party was a bit of a perfect fit for her, seeing as she is a star.
She loves movies, acting, fashion... she was all smiles.
And so were the 17 little girls that joined us too!!

Party Favors: Black & Gold Boas, Sunglasses, and Sparkling Cider
"That's a wrap! Thanks for coming!"

Gathering Activity: Fashion!!! Design a red carpet look!!

Candy Consessions

Prizes!!! (The girls were very excited for $5 gift cards to Justice after Eli, fashion judge, chose the 3 outfits he liked best!)

Popcorn cake!!

So fun to have a popcorn machine! We rented it and it was the perfect touch!!

Our Aunty Sheila came up and we were sooooooooo excited to have her (and Mike!) up!!! She played with Eli during the girly stuff he didn't want to do. I thought for sure he would jump in, but I guess not. He has his "male" limits.... so no high heels and strutting the run way I guess.

Games: Character Walk (acting game where a character is shouted out and they have to walk like that character)
The Martha game (a certain setting is given, then 4 people must freeze like they are in a photo of that setting- each doing something different)

I think they had fun.

We blasted some good music and they strutted down the runway.
The red carpet was not red, but they worked it.
We had some high heels for those who were feeling brave and wanted to rock it.

Everyone ATE!!! Oh my goodness!!
We had pizza, nachos, salad.
I couldn't believe a whole can of cheese devoured!!!

Gifts. Oh my. Maria is very loved and has such generous friends.

We watched Alice Through the Looking Glass.
The girls voted. Such a good movie!!

It was a brilliant night. Tons of fun. So glad to have so many happy little girls enjoying themselves. This is what life is all about.
