Trick or Treat!!!! To Prince!!!!!!!!!!

The weather man freaked us out a bit saying it was going to snow. It was cold, but nothing that wasn't bearable... especially in such warm, fluffy costumes!

Everyone was raving about their costumes!

Eli was quite the social butterfly, often asking to go inside people's homes.
I was proud though, he remembered his manners and often walked away saying, "Happy Halloween!"

Ella... of course!! was the best little baby!! We bundled her up under two blankets.

Pure Happiness. Look at how much he loves his lollipops.

We lucked out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We heard the music and could smell the flames!!!!!!!!!
We partied to Prince and other awesome music. Eli kept shouting, "That's soooooo awesome!!!!!!!"
And indeed it was! Another memorable and wonderful Halloween!

Spooky Breakfast

We had my parents over and enjoyed a few Halloween treats
Gotta love pinterest.
We had candy corn fruit cups, mummy sausages, bloody buns, moldy eggs, and spider eggs.

I also happened upon a clearance sale at Michael's so we got the kiddos some fun games and small toys.

It was a lovely morning.... almost ready for trick or treating in the snow... supposedly!

Trick or Treating- DR High School

So we headed off to the boonies... but it was nice. There was no one there!!

It wasn't as big as Spanish Springs, but it was still fun.

That boy was great about picking up Eli for musical chairs! I think Eli actually won a round because of him.
While I don't really like Halloween because of the gore and scariness.... I can find lots of good. It really is wonderful to see teenagers so thoughtful.

We were all slightly creeped out by this girl who was sporting Slytherin attire.
Like honestly.
Slytherin?

We got to play basketball, feel weird gushy stuff, play the lollipop game... it was easy. And nice to all be together!

Trick or Treat- SS Highschool

Spanish Springs is always my favorite. There are always so many people and the high school students are really good about making sure the little ones have a fun time. Weird to think in 3ish years Christina might be doing that!!

We happened to run into some friends... but unfortunately in the chaos got separated.

Greek Goddesses rule!!!

I want to eat her. She is the best!!! She did so good all night just looking and taking it all in.

I love this picture (above). Say no to CELL PHONES!!!! Or at least use it moderately.

They always do such an "interesting" job on face painting.
But the kids love it.

Thanks for bankrolling the party Yaya and Papa.
25 cents to play rock, paper, scissors.
:) At least we know it's going to a good cause!

Most games were great though.

Some games needed fine tuning... like giving push pins to 3 year olds and saying, "Try not to poke yourself."

The lacrosse was my favorite. The boys cheered really loud for the kiddos.
So sweet.

We also really liked ping pong in a pumpkin and spider toss!

But of course, the favorite part for the kiddos was......
THE CANDY!!!

Trick or Treat- Library

I don't know why we went. I knew it would only be 2 pieces of candy.
But it was still worth it because Eli said, "I only got 2 pieces of candy."

Eye of the Tiger pose!!!!!!

I did show the girls how to use the computer to look up locations of books though. And the librarian gave us the hook up and erased a 30 cent fee we had.
We LOVE OUR LIBRARY!!!!

October Art Farts 2014

I love how our vampires turned out more like Vulcan women.

Loved these line art trees.

Girls did a great job with their "shrieking shacks"...
They colored in while we read Harry Potter. We're on book 4!
