June 19- Special Day with Dad

While Eli was at his Civil Air Encampment in Wendover, Utah... our home was unusually quiet. Jody took the girls for a surprise electric bike ride in Tahoe and they LOVED it!!! They went to the beach and when it was a little too cold, Jody had everyone pack up and eat lunch. They really had a wonderful time and the day could be summed up as GIRL DAD!!!

 Jody is the ultimate plunger now!! He is able to stay under with his hands for at least 3 minutes. He double plunged today and was red as a beet. It is so peaceful at the Lake, it is heaven. I was able to put my legs in. So excited for summer.

And so the addiction continues. For a second weekend in a row, I found myself in the cold Tahoe waters.... frigid, but feeling amazing and alive. Connected to the earth, connected to the flow of life, feeling my heart, feeling my breath and just so very grateful for each moment I have here, thanks to Heavenly Father.

 

Cold Plunge Tahoe

Maria is doing such a great job as a driver. She needs to keep her hours up and practice, so we headed to Lake Tahoe. She did AMAZING!!! Me and Christina took the plunge! I was able to do 1 minute and Nina just went all the way under!!

 

Gas is Cheap

When you can go to Lake Tahoe for $5... you end up there quite a bit. We had a lovely time with Ram and kiddos.

At one point she got a disturbing text. She was so calm and peaceful about. She is such a light to me. It's amazing how she was able to handle the situation and keep positive. I'm so proud of her. Of her courage, of her outlook, and how she does it all. 

She is my hero.
