The yearly hike getting better each year!! We smartened up and left earlier to avoid the heat. There is no shade after 2 miles so we hit the sunrise and temps just right!!! We had lots of laughs and I ended up running the last mile. I am finally figuring out the best way to hydrate and feed my body on these journeys. I did get eaten alive by mosquitoes, at least 13 ear wounds. We also got a great breakfast at a cafe after.

Best friends
Dinner at Grateful Gardens and dessert at the Peppermill with an offer of free espresso for mommy. A drive downtown with a red headed crackhead and asleep by 10:30.
The Lifeguard
This sweet lady got hired at Alf Sorenson’s and is a bonifide bay watch babe poolside!!! She is a very hard worker and has shown such wonderful responsibility.
Joseph turns 45
We are bbq and ice cream cake. Jody spent the day in Tahoe and a bit under the weather. Glad he is finally feeling better.
Apple Watch vs Garmin and Bulgogi
I am in love with my Apple Watch. My garmin broke and Eli is loving it because it still counts steps. I also went out for a girls night with Ramya and it wa great to catch up and enjoy a weird hipster event downtown with unclean white people wearing overalls.
