Oct. 12 - Bizz Johnson Half Marathon

I shaved a minute off my half from the week before. (1 hour 53 minutes) Felt really great with my hydration and nutrition. It was a beautiful run. I chased Keyonna the whole time and never caught up to her!! It was Rachel's first half and she did fabulous!!! So grateful for, again, Jody and the kiddo's support. Eli started the race with the air horn and Ella finished the race by handing out medals/spikes. I would run this race again for sure!!!

 

Oct. 12- Susanville

After the art museum we headed to Susanville for my 2nd Half Marathon of 3 in 3 weeks. It was beautiful. We went to an unexpectedly fun thrift store. We found some great deals and ate some yummy pizza. I was pretty nervous but we relaxed at the pool and then went to bed. There were children running around at 2AM that woke us up. It wasn't the best situation, but we managed!

 

Oct. 12- Free Day at the Art Museum

We had a lovely Saturday morning together. We headed to the arboretum for the local bulb festival. We bought some great bulbs and need to plant them. Ella got some special earrings and we talked to a local planting and preserving expert. We also headed to the art museum and did the free dia de los muertos event. We saw one of my students perform on the drums as well. It was so nice to be together.
