It is humbling to love and witness the love back. I truly was so very spoiled for my 45th birthday. Cheri and Ariel went all out for my birthday at school and all the coworkers who don't even really know me came to my room and sang to me. Jody came to work with balloons and cupcakes for the students. It was so amazing. My dad got the family pizza and me a Whole Foods cake that took 2.5 hours to drive to get. I am truly the luckiest woman on earth. I can't even adequately say how blessed I feel and honored I feel to be with these people. I also got 3 new pairs on fast running shoes. I feel seen. And I do have to mention the beautiful thoughtful cards the girls wrote. They were poems to my soul. Eli also got me the funnest shoe tags that say, "I ain't no snow hoe bitch." (Inside joke)

Sept. 23- Christina turns 22
One time in the scriptures life was described as a dream and looking at my gorgeous baby girl, it truly does feel that way. How did the days of parks and museums pass to her telling me about work and school and Friday night happenings at 2AM. I'm so grateful to see the beautiful woman she's grown to be. The wisdom that is deep within her soul. The goodness that pours from her to every person she meets. The tattoos of plants that give life and air so gracefully sketched on her precious body that she treats with care. She is a connected being with our earth, with life, and with her family. I'm so very grateful for her.
Sept. 19- Kim's 45th
This was quite the time for me and Kim to hang out and celebrate her birthday in Sierraville. It was beautiful and I could feel the spirit guiding me. Life is always throwing twists and turns, but God knows everything and places us in the places we need to be to do His will.
Sept. 15- Ariel my Aide
I have the best Kindergarten aide and I would die without her. She and Cheri have been absolutely amazing to work with.
Sept. 15- Elijah turns 15
My sweet little boy isn't so little anymore. He's feisty, determined, and hard working. He's loud and full of life. He enjoys mechanic work and freedom outside. I rarely know where he is. (Side eye) We had a simple celebration and he's looking forward to the Sacramento Air Show with his dad and Barrett. We are so blessed to have him as our son. Anything I need, I know I can trust and count on him. He is the ultimate gift giver, full of thought and care... and he always uses his own money on others. If there is leftover from his mini-bike.
Sept. 14- Eli Ranks Up
There is a kid that hero worships Eli and it is the sweetest thing. I hope he always takes care of him.
Sept. 12- Date Night with Jackie and George
I sure do love my cousin's wife. Her and Ella text each other everyday and I'm so glad we have her in our lives because she is a light and full of love.
Aug 30- Our Garden has a Visitor
Our 2nd year of garden boxes was pretty successful! We randomly grew sorghum. And we also had hungry visitor who would steal our beautiful tomatoes!
