Braving the Winter Snow Storm.... For the grinch!

The Sparks Library had a wonderful afternoon activity! We had just watched the Grinch last night and these men did a live performance with awesome music! It was definitely a 8 out of 10!

I wonder what Papa will get for Christmas this year...

The past 3 years, Papa has gotten the same... exact... coat... from Yaya Sofia. Is it possible that he will get the exact... same.. coat this year? I hope so. Desperately I hope so. As well as the next 12 years. Because who wouldn't want 15 grey Alfani coats from clearance at Macy's?

Salt Ornaments With Kaeli

Our friend Kaeli is awesome. She is the twin's sister. We love her a lot. Our ornaments turned out fantastic!!

And this is why I don't sew...

Because a Princess Tiana outfit ends up like....snot out of my... nose.

The Days of Michaelcito Passed

Maria is 100% all girl. And do you see what is in her hand? It is bliss. Or lip gloss. Depending on if you are Maria or not because to her it's the same thing. She just walks/struts around in her dress up heels all day with the lip gloss that she rolls on about 3 times per minute. And yes. I have timed her. It's fascinating.

You get what you fast for!

And some say there is no God! I'll tell you this much - We prayed, we fasted, and we were blessed! There was a stake fast going on with the various different religious of the community for moisture and strength for the economy. We've gotten quite a few feet of snow... and it's still coming. God answer prayers. Not always the way we expect, but He does answer them.Hoo-ah.

Miss Whitney's Birthday

This was a great... if not my favorite... birthday party we've been to yet! Kimmy is ALWAYS throwing the best parties and my little Maria was in 7th heaven. Of course... I didn't have my camera. But I'm glad that I got to savor the moments. It was princess themed and better than the Disneyland princesses!! We made princess frames, ate great food and enjoyed lots and lots of dress up!!
Plus.... we didn't have to wait in line!! Maria must have given at least 20 hugs to these special gals!
Theo Angelo! Honestly, I have the greatest family! What a blessing!

Blogging Dinner = Unexpected Perk of MC Hammer's Original Can't Touch This Outfit Gracing Our Home

I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of our lovely guests! We had Angelo, Pam, Kim and the girls over for dinner and it was fantastic! Everything is always better when you have such wonderful and amazing company. The girls had a blast playing with their beautiful cousins. I'd been wanting to have them over for some time now because my Uncle needed to learn about blogging! He'd be absolutely perfect at it, so I hope he can get started now!

Yum. And did I mention how nice it is to be able to comfortably fit people at the table and in the house?
Stinky.
Double Yum. I can't believe I actually made this.Now. You might be asking yourself how MC Hammer's original outfit is gracing our home. One word. Kimmy. Kimmy is absolutely perfect and can accomplish anything! Seriously, my life has just been upped a level.

Discovery Musem

We got to visit Aunty Pam and stay with her family for Thanksgiving weekend. It was wonderful! She is quite the cook and my girls adore... absolutely loved!! spending time with Amanda!! We also got to visit with Aunty Sheila and spend the day at the discovery museum. Aka heaven on earth!! It was weird though, having Christina be too big for the tot spot!!

We also found out Christina is allergic to cats. Thank you hives. Aunty Sheila got us some children's benadryl and that helped out tremendously. Kind of crazy though. It's sad because they had a great time with all the animals, but what can you do?
It's becoming a tradition on the way home to stop at Ikea and get a toy because they are so incredibly awesome in the car! Seriously, no DVD player. They just played and sang or sat the entire time!! We are so blessed!

Happy Thanksgiving Adventure!!

This was our Thanksgiving Day:
California Traffic.Pit stops.
Flat tire stop. Ugh-oh. Car won't start stop.Police Officer: "Sorry I can't help ya. We've got a pursuit."
Jody: "Can you at least give me a jump?"
Police Officer: "Well, what good will that do?"
Jody: "We can get off the freeway."
Police Officer: "I just don't see the point."
Sound of silence. And 30 billion cars passing by at 100 mph.
Police Officer finally decides to give us a jump, we pull off into Fuji massage, where the car clunks out again. Fortunately, there is Son Rise worship center (below) and lots of room for the girls to run around.

And then there's...

The only open place within a 3 mile radius. Bathrooms! Hooray! Exotic fountain with fish!! Hooray! Really. What more can you ask for.

And the most beautiful leaves you'd ever see in your entire life. It was by far the most memorable Thanksgiving yet. :) Thank goodness we're all alive and Dad picked us up!!

** Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of Dave. My friend who was just wandering around the parking lot because no one would pay attention to him at their Thanksgiving party. He was wearing his jacket so it looked like he didn't have any arms. However, he did have arms because I offered him some gum and he took it. I think he may... possibly... have wanted to kill us.
