Good day for a Gyro

 

Sometimes you just want to be in Greece, but you're not. So you have to settle for eating. Dolmades good... a little small. Spanikopita skata. Gyros, delicious. Greek salad, WTH?

 

Niko passed away this year and the food just wasn't that great. It was decent, but burnt filo dough is a big turn off.

 

One day we'll eat feta and tomatoes on the deck of a cafenio. We'll drink the nectar of gods -olive oil- and enjoy a Mediterranean sunset while breathing the salted air.

 

One day!!!

Library "Mission" in the Park

 

The library had a mission to read a couple books at the park and draw a few pictures. We had a good time, even though it was hot!

 

Favorite sport.... swimming.

Fireworks!!!

 

We were scoping for the perfect spot and found it!! However, everyone was nervous because mommy kind of broke us into the stadium and they were worried we'd be arrested. I was like, who is going to arrest a mother with 4 kids just trying to find the perfect spot to watch fireworks?

 

But it was kind of creepy. So we tried, and tried, and tried again.

We had to make a bathroom stop.

 

And finally ended up in the parking lot where we drop off Jody's lunch sometimes. Ha! It was just right!!!

 

Love our country!!!! Happy 4th of July!!!

 

Funny enough though, our favorite part is watching the trucks drive down the mountains by Pyramid Highway!! It's pretty awesome!!

Can a mother love her kids too much? I absolutely love them more than I could ever say. They are my best friends. They are my reason for living, breathing, and being. Spending time with them is my heaven.

 

We headed downtown for opening night for artown. Not much for kids, at all. However, we heard there was a controlled burn, so we decided to stick around.

 

1. Wild River Grill has a great bathroom and I really want to eat there because the food looked amazing!!

 

2. Second Hand Pot is really relaxing, but bad. DARE TO SAY NO TO DRUGS!!!!!! True story. Do you want directions to our new church building? Just drive down Sun Valley and take a left at the weed dispensary. Awe (high pitch breathy... hold) some!!!!

 

3. I really think I was best friends with the girl on the very right in 2nd grade

Great show, decent music... but that might just be the 2nd hand weed talking.

 

THIS!! NOW THIS!!! This was my favorite. I could have watched these guys all night. They were on skateboards and bikes and just doing all sorts of cool stuff. Plus there was this guy that looked like Tupac, I mean this is a real possibility... who complimented Eli on his shirt.
