Hymns

So we sing every night from the hymn book to the girls. We read scriptures first and then sing. The whole process takes about 30 minutes, in the mean time they lie in bed, unwind and usually fall asleep.

Well about 2-3 weeks ago Christina started singing from the hymn book. At church she'll pull out the book, find the correct page and then have at it. She sings loud too. I love that her reading skills have now been linked to something so important. Half the time people don't sing, and here's my little 5 year old praising God, happy as a clam to do so.

I'm just so proud of her.
