This was right by Ward Charcoal Ovens and very similar to Elko. The reservoir was completely dry, but fall was definitely in the air. We chose the hardest hike in the park (cave overlook trail 12% grade)... whoops. We ended up not doing the entire loop, but made it 700 ft. elevation gain. It was beautiful views and bright clear skies.
