This sweet little babe came over to our house for an hour and a half. He was doing pretty good, then got a little fussy. We didn't have a bottle for him, so we started walking and rocking. He would do good then start to cry. I tried music. Finally, Christina suggested we put him in his car seat and rock.
I thought, ugh. There's got to be a better way.
But she was right. He calmed right down and passed out as Nina rocked him silently for 20 minutes.
She's a good girl. I'm proud of her. She'll be a good mother.
And again, I just have to reiterate how grateful I am for breastfeeding. It may have been hard, but it was worth it. And I'm grateful I was always there to be able to comfort my kiddos.
