What says American more than overindulgence!! We started off with a red,white and blue breakfast that was a little bit too much food.
Then we continued to eat throughout the day at my Yaya's and then our good friend Debbie Brockoff's home for a bar-b-que. Being friends with a baker is lovely. Plain and simple. We got to meet a lot of her family and enjoy her garden of eden backyard.
We finished off the day with fireworks at Bud Beasley. Loved the laid back atmosphere. There were quite a few families there, the kids could play on the school playground until it was time and the weather was absolutely perfect. The fireworks were a little small, so we're still working on the perfect spot. But for this year, it was wonderful!!

How does one take pictures in the dark? I never get any good shots, even on the "firework" setting.

We got your card and picture!! How sweet are you? The girls are just beautiful. And Christina's card was super sweet. The hubs has drill this weekend, but we will be replying. That was just so neat. She is such a thoughtful smartie!
