Thanksgiving morning was a rush of excitement!! Maria was not "training" for her 2 miles at all, but she never seems to tire when she runs.... so off we went! I was a little worried because Joe had a cold and wasn't getting out of bed.
But we made it on time!! There was even a balloon to welcome us!
Thanks Yaya and Papa! They were the ones who got Maria and Joe all set up for the race.
It was cold!!! Not freezing, but enough that you needed to put your hands in your pockets!!
Maria ran the ENTIRE 2 MILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joe could barely keep up with her as she often wanted to sprint. But she was kind and waited patiently for her daddy....
20 minutes later.... yes, that would be 10 minute miles for those tiny little legs!!
We are so proud of our sweet runners!!! Go Maria and Daddy!!!
Who is this woman?? I don't know, but I enjoy her eye contact with the camera.

How did she run that whole time? Was it just around the marina once or twice? Way to go! We never went to that, looks like fun.
