VSA Art Day... WE WON!!!!!!!!

We had a busy day Saturday! In the morning we had a primary activity day on gratitude. It was wonderful. The kids had a good time and did some really productive art projects and thank you notes.
Also, we had 4 teachers show up who were very helpful and kind. To see these loving relationships be built is such a privilege. It's funny though, because out of 24 kids.... about 5 said thank you?

Maria was super stoked for lunch, Yaya and Papa treated us to Port of Subs. Not having to worry about food is the best... I tell ya.

After that we had free art day at the VSA Lake Mansion!! Even though some of the art projects were repeats, they are still really fun! It was Eli's first time digging into the art too! We hit it an hour before they were supposed to close. It wasn't very crowded at all!!!

At one point a lady came over to offer my mom a chair. She also happened to be selling raffle tickets, so my mom was guilted into buying a few. We ended with seeing Santa who creeped Eli out at first... but after he got a candy cane, he decided he loved Santa.

And then, as we were about to leave... it was raffle time!!!! And go figure... the girls each drew a ticket and Yaya won 2 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yaya got a great basket with fun things to do with the kiddos (one is a surprise for Eli for Christmas!) and she also won a wine vase!!!

Hooray!!!
These kids have the best luck!!!!
It was a wonderful day! We are always so blessed.
