Winterella... Our Christmas Tree

This year, putting up the tree was nothing short of magical. The girls were super excited.
We loaded up at Save-Mart for $20 and tossed the tree on top of the van. The girls chose a tree that was a little lopsided, however, it's proving to be quite nice when it comes to watering.
Christina untangled lights, Maria skipped around, Joe did all the manual labor and I fed the sweet babe.
I think the girls favorite part is hanging and eating candy canes!
After all the trimmings were on, we shut off ALL the lights and made a big deal of the lighting of the star.
There were ooo's and aah's from the girls and then Christina felt prompted to lead us in O Christmas Tree.
We knew a few of the lines, but some were mumbled/hummed. The girls decided to name the Christmas tree. Some other name ideas were Christmas Tree, Tree-erella but then Winterella popped up and they decided it was perfect. Christina said, "You know, Winterella has a good home. Winterella is warm, is going to be fed and is loved. What a lucky tree."
When Maria went to bed she said, "Tonight was so peaceful. It was just really peaceful and wonderful I love Christmas."
