I didn't mention, but after our hike on the fourth, the kids... specifically Ella, really wanted to see the fireworks.
Jody was asleep as well as my dad. Because we had just hiked 10 miles.
But the kids were still going. We headed over by the Sparks library and people were playing music.
We saw some fireworks by Dilworth and honestly, they were more impressive than the Nugget.
Within 5 minutes Maria said, "OK. You got your pictures, can we go?"
And really.... we were just fine heading out!!!
Ha!!!
To quote Maria again, "You just can't beat Fallon."
