This is what success looks and feels like.
We had a wonderful morning being inspired spiritually from General Conference. We then on the spur of the moment decided to do Hunter Creek Falls hike. The computer said 5.7, but we later figured out whoever had written that mixed up the numbers, it was actually 7.5.
But the kiddos were troopers!! And the weather was perfect!!!
We would get these great breezes and the fall colors were so beautiful!!
I made it up with Ella and Papa brought her down. Man!! So helpful having Papa around!!
I could have done it, but it was much more enjoyable.
Eli rocked it. Plain and simple. He did so good. He's a natural in the woods.
It was a 1,130 elevation gain, so that's no easy. He didn't even complain. None of them did!! They are total rockstars.
We loved crossing the stream, finding our balance. So peaceful!!
The falls, gorgeous!!!
We realized, this was probably one of the first times me and my dad have ever really hiked together.
It was very pleasant and fun!!
Thanks Heavenly Father for such an amazing earth and for keeping us safe!!
