Blown Away at Meteor Crater

We decided to take the eastern border route from the Grand Canyon down to visit Uncle Bob in Tucson. Best decision!! Such a lovely drive full of scenery!

And on the way was Meteor Crater!!! I thought it be free, but it ended up being a crater out of Papa's wallet. We cost him an arm and a leg this trip... and his response, so kind, "Sofia, I can't take it with me."
He's so Greek talking about dying. Love it.

Anyways, it was really interesting! We watched a very dramatic (not) film about how meteor crater was formed... ding ding. A meteor. But the graphics were fun nonetheless. And it is crazy to think about the force of impact and falling stars.

It was really windy, but a blue sky day!
ELI AND HIS DAB!!!!!
Oh my goodness. The constant pose.

Dad's new facebook profile pic.

A good reminder that life can leave gaping holes. So what do you do? You become a national monument and make bank.
Make that lemonade.
