The first thing we did in Phoenix was head over to Papago Park and enjoy the Hole in the Wall Hike. It was really easy and a good introduction to all the red rock Arizona has to offer. (I think it was probably .5 mile round trip)
Sometimes it felt like we were on Mars with all the red dust! We did a side foray onto a steeper climb, then headed on the main path. Everyone did great... but poor Maria wasn't as happy. More into that later.
Great views of the valley!! And a nice dose of sun!!
Ella was a poser the entire trip.
