There is a reason this is an ultimate beach and it's EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING about this beach is spectacular. It is a white rock beach, so it's almost like you cook yourself on it. The sea is absolute life. The water is the perfect temperature. We had a long drive getting there. To say the road is curvy is putting it lightly. It is the road of death. It is driving on the edge of a large large cliff and one little puff will put you to an early grave. It takes triple the time because it's one lane basically, they drive like maniacs, and even as a driver I was getting sick. I cannot emphasize enough how bad this road it. It must be the worst road on earth.
But then the beach erases any memory of your horrible trip there!!! So it's a win!! As my cousin put it, once you get there you don't want to leave. Fortunately, there was a snack shop and we were able to buy water and snacks and enjoy the rest of our evening. It truly was the most amazing and stunning beach.
When we finally got back to the Airbnb, we changed and got read for a lovely little dinner around the corner. Gyros were $4!!!! It was such a deal!!! We also went to the local bakery where we got swindled into buying a cherry cream pie and whole galaktoboureko pie. Just kinda crazy that it was the exact pie my Yiaya loved!!
