Pumpkin Painting and Carving

We ended the festivities with a dramatization of the teeny tiny woman. Very spooky. In fact, so spooky that Christina inadvertently scared Maria and she refused to finish. Hence Christina took on both the part of the teeny tiny woman and the ghost... very entertaining and quite well done!!

Pumpkin Patch 2010 FHE

The girls and I had a fun time at the pumpkin patch and Joe showed up for the last little bit.

It was cold!! But Maria hadn't gotten her pumpkin yet so we had to set out to find just the right one.

Children's Hospital Banquet

We got invited to a very hoity toity dinner at the Atlantis. Tickets were $200 a person but we were free as guests of Wells Fargo. It was fun and we got to see a magician. I loved leaving the parking lot with all the Mercedes and BMW's and the brakes on Joe's Toyota were squeaking. A very nice lady invited us and her and Joe were the only black people in a room of 800. Thanks Yaya and Papa for watching the girls so we could "mingle".

Ghetto Pumpkin Patch on Virginia St.

We love to go out with our Grandparents and Yaya Sofia. We had a free Saturday and started with cleaning the church. The girls worked very hard wiping down tables and wood siding. Then we picked up Yaya Sofia and squeezed into one car (Honestly don't know how we all fit, it was quite the feat) to a lovely breakfast and headed to a pumpkin patch.... that was....

very Reno-ish. Do you love his manly chest?

The girls loved it however dirty it was. 3 little ponies were attached to a metal pole contraption. It was very sad.

The bounce houses were pretty funky (as in very grimy), but the workers didn't care how long they jumped, so the girls got a great work out.
Did we want to ride the "panda express" with this man? Yes. But we didn't.

The best part was the cotton candy. Gotta love sugar and Halloween fun.

Ward Halloween Party- All 60 minutes

We had a lovely time at our ward Halloween Party this year, however... it was rather short.
The fire alarm went off because of a smoke machine, we had to evacuate, a firetruck came, we did trunk or treat outside while they checked the building and voila, it was a night.
The girls dressed up as Barbie Princess Anika from Barbie Magic Pegasus and a Pteradactyl.

I love Debbie! Best baker ever!

My visiting teacher Shirley, she's fantastic!

Andelin Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Bless my dad! I'm so grateful he is a wonderful grandpa and can help out so I can go on field trips. Every time I need to be somewhere, he's there to help. Almost every kid there was like "I wish my mommy could come but she works."

Christini and a friend from brownies! They have a great troop with excellent leaders.

I was thoroughly confused because never have I met such giant first graders. Mind you, Christina is super tall, but she was dwarfed by these two!

We had a great time playing games, looking at animals, doing crafts and just enjoying the warm sunshine!

Not to mention a great hay maze and tractor pulled ride!

The barrel of corn was a great sensory experience!

A yak? Yes. Who breeded with a cow and had a baby named a cak. I kid you not.

Christina found a great jaw bone on the ground. Sometimes, she is my spitting image.

Fantastic, eh?
Great field trip!! Much better than the first one this year.
