Feb. 14- Valentine's Day

We're healing. It's phenomenal to be able to say that. Jody is doing his part. I am doing mine. We're working together and building something stronger and better.

I felt so seen this Valentine's Day. Jody bought me flowers, multiple cards, visited me at work and got me the most beautiful dishes that remind me of Greece. He set up a dinner for us at La Strada (glorified Olive Garden) and we got to people watch and just spend time together. I felt so very happy. God has truly blessed us.

Valentine's Day at school was ridiculous. I am so glad that the holiday is over. I don't even know how many pounds of chocolate I got. Vaha made me a special valentine's card which I loved. I had a parent buy the pizza, hooray!! And the real story was Ella and her admirers. She had a boy bring her flowers and another boy get down on a knee to ask if she'd be his valentine (John Paul). She said yes, but only to being a valentine, not a girlfriend. Another boy brought her a box of candy. When she hits the teen years I am so grateful Heavenly Father gave me Christina and Maria to help me through.

Eli gave a special valentine to a girl on the swim team. I think he only did it because I had so many chocolates.

We celebrated at home with some heart pasta and vienetta I found at Grocery Outlet.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's was very simple this year. A nice dinner with the kiddos at Grateful Gardens... birthday fudge at Scheel's.

The real happenings were at school. I got 11 boxes of chocolate, multiple flowers, cards...

We had a pizza party, Papa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Saved Marie's party because they didn't have enough food. It was awesome!!
