Christ was born. He lived a perfect life. I'm amazed at how He has been by my side and helped me through the hardest moments of life. I don't deserve His love and patience, but the scriptures are true, He is our shepherd who will not leave our side. He is in relentless pursuit of us. This year especially was so humbling as we readied ourselves. I didn't have to worry about money. God has truly blessed me. And I'm so grateful to my Yiaya who lived such a modest life.
Psalms 145:2 "Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever."

Dec. 24- Christmas Eve Day
Christmas Eve day was amazing! I started off with a back workout and quick little 8 minute 30 sec mile 5k at Crunch with Maria. I set up Jody's "he sees me" gift of Britbox (I get it for a year!!!) and enjoyed an episode of Great Expectations and Belgravia (Always listen to a wise mother!!). It was so peaceful. I baked cookies and made rice crispy treats with heavy cream, they were luxurious. Eli started to feel numb in his face and hand and vomitted so I took him to Urgent Care. It was packed and after an hour he was like, I'm fine. So we went home. Hopefully he didn't have a stroke or something. UNR wanted Jody to slave away all day and never called an early release. He still came home around 3. We headed to the Peppermill and got a random snow storm. We were thinking sushi, but no one was that hungry. So we enjoyed a lighter fare and said our prayers on the drive home. Thank you Father we made it home in one piece to set up for the next day. Truly we are so blessed.

Dec. 24- Christmas Lights and getting ready for Santa
Santa had the most magical elf this year. He was absolutely present and devoted to his family. It was heaven on earth.
Dec. 24- Not really a hike to a brothel
Nothing says Christmas eve like going to Mustang Ranch on accident. Especially after everything that has happened this year. And even though it was not overly pretty and there was lots of animal feces on the ground, and the highway was super loud, it was still time together. But it wasn't because Eli was making bad choices beforehand and got left behind even after he was warned. Merry Christmas eve.
