June 10- Eli's Facebook Marketplace Venture

He's a hustler and getting free stuff off Facebook marketplace, fixing it up and then trying to resell. The only problem is he isn't 18 and got booted.

 

May 17- Eli's Hawthorne CAP Parade

 

Oct. 5- Air Races

Eli volunteered with civil air patrol and got free tickets for the next day! He had a wonderful time getting to film the Blue Angels. He was very helpful and had an 80 year old man twerk near him because he was so excited Eli was stamping him. Jody volunteered as well! It was a very busy two days, but full of excitement!!!

 

Aug 31- Eli's First TIme Flying an Airplane

Eli had his first time flying an airplane from Reno to Minden with the civil air patrol! He did an amazing job and loved it!! He threw up on the ride back because the other 12 year flew a little bumpy. But he really enjoyed being up in the air!! The retired general who took him up was beyond nice!!!

 

July 27- Brick Fest

Papa spoiled Eli and took him to brick fest. Eli loved building a Lego robot and he created the tallest tower at the center. He had a great time with Josh!!!

 

June 11- The Mini Grill

Eli traded his lemonade business for this. A mini grill. Apparently he is working on his new talent. Needless to say in summer we eat better because we have more time.

 

April 6- Meat Off and Snow

Best grilled steaks ever. You pay for what you get. Thanks Blue Ribbon Meats. The meat off between Joe and Eli didn't happen, but we still ate well.

 

March 28- Air National Guard with General Berry

Jody planned a special day for Eli, and it took a little bit of work. His very good friend from his fraternity, is a high ranking military General, and he arranged for a private tour for Eli. One guy even wore his suit for him!! They took him all over the airplanes and he was in 7th heaven!! He finally learned how to start the APU. He describes his day as "the most beautiful thing he's ever seen."

 

Jan. 27- Deacon's Quorum President

Eli is a great friend and natural born leader. We are very blessed to have such good leaders that are so supportive.

 

Jan. 21- Dinner with Jackie and Eli Naughtiness

We enjoyed a fabulous meal with our cousins and a riveting game of Catan. It was a nice night to just talk and decompress. The next day was church and we're working with Eli on what we can do when we feel bored. He got banished to another row.

 

Jan. 19- Man Stuff

Jody took Elijah to the local Car Museum. There were really fast cars and Eli especially liked the jet car. They had a fun time and enjoyed lunch at Beefy's (insert a 4 patty 1 1/2 lb burger) while playing hookie from school and work.
