Celebrating

Work was stressful this week!! It was nice to go out and relax. The older kids did an escape room and we took the littles to defy. They went to bed very easily!

There is no place like home!!

Nina is 17

And all of a sudden that happened pretty fast!!Jody and I made Nina climb into our arms. She’s a lot bigger than when she was a baby.Unfortunately Jody and I had to work late that night.Maria came to the rescue and made lemon pasta. We had cake from Whole Foods. And 17 very special gifts for a very special 17 year old.At the 16th gift I tried to make a big stink that there were only 17 and I must’ve forgotten one…They saw right through that one and knew there was a big gift coming. We updated Nina’s phone. 

Nina at 17 it’s super responsible. She is a hard worker and always tries her best. She’s clean. She’s helpful. She’s very kind. She is the worlds best chorister at church, especially when she leans on the piano to piss off the 80 year old. She’s excellent with kids. She’s an artist, she’s clever, thoughtful… The list could go on and on and on about how wonderful she is. We love her and she’s our everything.

Sierra Buttes

We had lovely weather for this beautiful hike. Note to self…. Drive through graeagle!!! It is faster and easier than google maps. The kids did amazing, no complaints. It helps to have ice cream as a reward to inspire for after.

Ella didn’t even flinch on the very steep stairs. I even needed some deep breaths!! She asked me if we could do it twice but I said I would pass.

We are so blessed to live in this amazing world.

Nerf Birthday Party Eli turns 10

We had a surprisingly mellow party! Josh was our hero and let us borrow his arsenal. We had a small group, a fun course set up, and great sunny weather with blue skies.
