Feb. 15- Ella Turns 12

Ella is amazing. She is full of love and light. She is considerate and kind and always helping others. She truly sees the good in others and is quick to be positive. She is funny and tender and optimistic. She is very comfortable in her body and strong in every way. She is super patient. She loves to shop and buy things, so we need to watch that and make sure she knows her worth is her own and not the things she owns. She's bougie. We did Farmer's Market for her breakfast and Pho 999 for our family dinner. Papa and Manny and Josh came over for cake that Jessica made. It was absolutely beautiful. Nina got Ella a special nail appointment with her friend and Papa got a super cool lego set that Josh put together for her. She got her temple recommend on Sunday. It's such an exciting time in life.

 

Feb. 14- Old Students

I love all my old students who come every day to give hugs and say hello. I'm so blessed to know these sweet kiddos.

 

Feb. 14- Celebrating Ella's Birthday

Our sweet beautiful girl who texts us every morning to say I love you and Good Morning. She is pure goodness. Pure love.

We were so happy to spend time together as a family and go to Circus Circus. We played carnival games and won her 2 bags full of stuffed animals. We had a lot of fun.

Ella is such a kind hearted person. She had a Valentine this year/boyfriend who got her See's Candy peanut brittle but she didn't want him to feel bad so she didn't tell him about her peanut allergy. That's just who she is. Always thinking of others. 

She is in 6th grade and is the most organized, helpful, and thoughtful person. She is a good listener and a good friend, even though her friends aren't the greatest right now. Middle School is the worst. She works hard and loves to be with others. We are so very proud of her. Our baby.

 

Feb. 14- Valentine's Day

We're healing. It's phenomenal to be able to say that. Jody is doing his part. I am doing mine. We're working together and building something stronger and better. 

I felt so seen this Valentine's Day. Jody bought me flowers, multiple cards, visited me at work and got me the most beautiful dishes that remind me of Greece. He set up a dinner for us at La Strada (glorified Olive Garden) and we got to people watch and just spend time together. I felt so very happy. God has truly blessed us.

 

Feb.7 - Minden Valentine's Meet

5:00am to 6:00pm makes for a long day!! Looking forward to when Eli and Ella are at the same time!! Eli was so tired he passed out in the car.

 

Feb. 3- 100th Day of School

I sure do love my teaching partner and wish we could be together forever. Kristen is amazing, low stress, high functioning, and just so positive. I'm so lucky to have her this year. This class is a lot of boys and personalities that need patience. Glad to be almost done but sad that I'll probably never have such low numbers again. 15 total students.
