Marlette Flume Trail by Spooner Lake

Everyone was excited for this hike because friends were invited!! The colors were fall perfect. The weather was lovely, not hot at all. Within 15 minutes Joe disappeared and got lost for 2 1/2 hours.

Fortunately we were able to find him at the end. It was a little stressful, but thank goodness God keeps us safe.

Such a great hike. We didn't make it the whole way, one of our friends was starting to get tired... but it was still marvelous!! We enjoyed a lentil taco dinner after, everyone was famished. Highlight was me asking Ben, "So Ben, do you often eat legumes?"

Also randomly Maria blew up on Tik Tok. She made a video with her friend where currently there are 140,000 likes and now 2,000 followers. She's my hero.

The International Car Forest of the Last Church

The kids did so well on the car trip. 7-8 hours is a long time in the car!!

Highlights from driving were the Death Valley Candy Company in who knows where and this random art installation. The littles and I explored it, fortunately no one got hepatitis.

Go big or go home

Vegas is salad bars right? So go to a meat place for the best salad ever!!

We know your motives Joseph.

Needless to say Eli was thrilled and they really did have the most AMAZING salads!!
We loved how Eli kept ordering drinks for everyone... big spender. He really was so merry about it all.

We watched a Halloween movie- Hocus Pocus and slept well with happy memories.

Shopping and Relaxing

We spent the majority of the day enjoying some time in the stores. We didn't find much until we hit SAAAAAAAAAAAVERS!!!!!!!!!! 50% off everything. Needless to say, Eli finally got some pants that fit.... I can't believe he is a size 10!!! Ella got a sweet little Elena of Avalor costume. It was fun. Even if the line was 20 minutes long.

We hit the pool, enjoyed some pizza for lunch!!! Then kabobs for dinner! Super yummy and a very friendly owner who checked in on us often.

We also spent some outside time at a great park. Very relaxing. And how did I forget our treat for breakfast... as you can see our trip revolved around food. PINKBOX doughnuts!!!!!!!!!! Best doughnuts we've ever HAD EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
