Uncle Corey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ultimate Guess Who Warrior

I got lucky in the in-law department when it comes to Uncle Corey!!!

Corey is one of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful, calm people you will meet.

He is funny, smart, and has the best laugh! We were so glad that he was able to come out and visit us!!

We had a lovely time together. We bounced at a trampoline park and Ninja'd together.  Eli was not going to give up. None of my kids!!! They tried and tried and then climbed and climbed!! I was so proud of them!! Papa got in on the action too!!! 70+ NINJA!!! He inspires us all. Although now he has rope burns and a banged up toe.

We also played at a park and went on a 2 mile walk downtown along the river. The weather was pretty rainy, but that made for some gorgeous greenery!

Jody tried Lime Bikes!! $1 fun times!!

We enjoyed a tasty Ichiban dinner.... seriously, so yummy. And then on Sunday had a bbq where we ate way too much.

This is my husband. He's still in there.

Corey is a happiness and light bringer. We enjoyed talking, sharing stories, looking at his beautiful trip to Venice pictures. Ram entertained us/slightly scarred me with a story of a horror movie she watched that Uncle Corey also saw. Jody didn't finish it because it was too scary.

However, now I have good April Fool's day ideas.
Even if I can't sleep.

It was a grand time. Corey is nothing short of a blessing in our lives. So grateful to call him a friend and family.

Hopefully we can visit him in Oregon this summer!!!
Thanks for coming Corey!!!

You are the best!!!

*And sidenote: Uncle Corey played at least 230 rounds of Guess Who with all the kiddos. Such a great Uncle!

Maria's BF Birthday Party

These 2 remind me of Ram and I.
Truly.

They have so much fun together, so much in common, and are obsessive. They also know the most random things and make the funniest jokes.

They are all things Stranger Things.
80's music.

Just so grateful that Maria can experience that type of homegirl relationship.

I love her parents and grandparents too. We are all pretty tight and they were so kind to let allllll of us come. The kiddos had a blast seeing as they never get to play video games. I didn't get a picture but I thought it was hilarious when the littles were playing the terminator game with guns that were way to big.
(Fortunately they hadn't swiped the card right and it wasn't working)

All the lights and noise.... very stimulating!!

This cake.... was heavenly!!!

Music Program & Talent Show

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. There are no music teachers like Mrs.Champagne and The Lorentrzens.

This was a very nice program, however it started out slow and the music teachers TALKED TOO MUCH!

Let the children sing. And let them sing fun songs!!!!

Instead of complaining, I should become a music teacher.

Then, our wonderful friend from church, put on a tremendous talent show!!! Man!!! Talk about quality.

The acts were so entertaining- in a horrible/funny way.

Step. Step. Poke. Step. Poke. Step. Step.
Even the off key singing couldn't wake some people up.

But 1 act brought the house down.
And that was....
ELIJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as Napolean Dynamite

This kid has a future in awkward dancing.
Everyone went wild.
He was fantastic. Right on, remembered his steps. Got into it. Not nervous at all!!

(He wouldn't let Ella in the picture. She was sad.)

I did bribe him and told him he could have Yogurt Beach if he tried his hardest. And he sure did!!

Ella's 1st Field Trip

Ella was a bit excited for this one!! I had no clue what the weather would be like. Neither did the weather. Fortunately, I brought coats.

Ella had allllllllllllllllll boys in preschool this year. They were ragamuffins.

Even on the field trip a boy was rude to her and I wanted to give him a good dose of reality. Whatever. Fortunately Ella is kind and forgiving.

We were lucky and got to see a lizard. Ella wanted me to hold it. Yeah.

It was nice because we didn't have to spend 10 hours at each animal. I went on a few field trips here and remember it being a little bit long winded.

The Lynx stopped right in front of Ella... then peed on the window.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew!

The wolf only had one eye!!

Ella was as tall as a mule deer and her wingspan as big as a falcon.
My wingspan was as big as a turkey vulture.

Ella and her teacher!
She is organized and on the ball!

So grateful I got to spend time with my baby doing this fun field trip.
By the end it was thundering and pouring rain!
On the freeway it was flooding.

We enjoyed a little yogurt beach together as treat after!!

Hand-Me-Down-Heaven

My good friend Kate was going through some clothes and brought us a huge bag for Ella.

Needless to say, it might of been the best day of her entire life.

She spread out every outfit, tried on every outfit.
2 hours straight. She was THRILLED!!!

Eli found a cool lego watch!!
Everything is awesome!!

So grateful for thoughtful friends!!!
