Oct. 12- Free Day at the Art Museum

We had a lovely Saturday morning together. We headed to the arboretum for the local bulb festival. We bought some great bulbs and need to plant them. Ella got some special earrings and we talked to a local planting and preserving expert. We also headed to the art museum and did the free dia de los muertos event. We saw one of my students perform on the drums as well. It was so nice to be together.

 

May 11- Drake and Kendrick Lamar Beef explained plus Art Night

I love my daughters. They still like to spend time with me and I find it such a blessing and privilege to be their mom and see who they have become. Maria explained everything social media right now for me, basically another Tupac and Biggie type situation. We had Uncle Corey in town unfortunately on a very heart breaking situation. We did a paint night and I got some beautiful summer art to hang up on our walls.

 

March 9- Art Day at the Museum

Ella is such a cutie pie. We had a great day together making art and eating lunch at Whole Foods after.

 

March 3- St. Patty's Day Art Competition

I needed some art for the wall. As a family we spent about 40 minutes together drawing, painting and coloring. Then we took it to instagram for a vote. Christina won $3 that I never paid her and we still have yet to go to Dairy Queen as a treat for spending time together and having good attitudes, even though we got a bit competitive. 

 

2nd Saturday at the Art Museum

 It was an interesting exhibit at the museum this month. I thought Eli would love it, but he wasn't fascinated. It was blow up military stuff. We did a photoshoot with lemons and enjoyed making pinwheels and rock cacti.
