June 21- Father's Day

For Father's Day we had a delicious outside breakfast with our favorite fathers! My dad has always been my rock. I've been able to always come to him whenever I need help. He is generous, kind, and supportive. He is the calm when there is a storm.

Jody has really stepped it up the last few years. He is home and present. He helps. He loves freely. He works so very hard to provide and take care of.

We are very blessed to have them as our Fathers here on earth. And of course, always grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who watches over us in mercy.

Afterwards, Jody and I headed down to the Bay Area for his birthday gift! A trip for a World Cup game!! We ate at our favorite East Bay Greek Restaurant and had a pit stop to a random Ghirardelli stop in the middle of nowhere. It was a peaceful drive with actual little traffic!!

June 15- Father's Day

We've had so much change in the past 2 years. It was a busy Father's Day after the graduation party but I tried my best to make it special. We enjoyed a fun little game seeing who could draw our Dad's the best.

Jody is a great father. He loves to do outdoor activities with the kids, throw a football with Ella and Eli, do anything needed UNR for Christina and Maria, take kids out to Dutch Bros, get anyone gas. He is very present and always willing to guide in love and support.

Papa is the best Papa in the whole wide world. Recently we had been to a Scandia fun park and Eli told our cousins, "This is just a normal fun day with our Papa." Papa truly is a best friend to Eli and Ella, also the best chauffeur help to Mama. If it weren't for Papa, there are a lot of things our family couldn't do because of all his help.

Manny is a great addition to the family as well. He has sacrificed everything to raise children that were not his own. We are grateful for his love and support.

June 16- Father's Day

Father's Day! As we rebuild relationships it's nice to see hearts softened and that genuine desire for connection. Papa wasn't overly excited to celebrate today, but it's important that we acknowledge and give thanks to all our fathers have done. My own dad is my rock. My support and my calm in the storm.
Jody is the father of our children and there is not a doubt in my mind that his number one priority is making sure our children are safe and happy.

I'm grateful most of all though to a Heavenly Father who is all powerful and all knowing. He truly is my God. In a time of confusion and sorrow, He has taken my pain, He has comforted me, He has held together our family and made it possible to heal.
