Feb.7 - Minden Valentine's Meet

5:00am to 6:00pm makes for a long day!! Looking forward to when Eli and Ella are at the same time!! Eli was so tired he passed out in the car.

 

Sept. 13- Minden Swim Meet

Eli had a rocket thing and we went for a hike and it was a mess, but we made it to Minden to ground in the grass and eat good food at LA Bakery. 

April 13- Splash into Spring Elk Grove Meet

 This was an amazing meet! Papa went all out and got us an AIR BNB. It was really nice, spacious and comfortable- not perfect, but just the right size for all of us. The kiddos swam really hard, the weather was perfect, the pool was a great size so we weren't squished, they had super fresh dumplings for purchase... we loved it. We also got to meet Manny's family that they went to Hawaii with. They were lovely and even had the tools in their truck to help scrape off the melted plastic Papa and Manny used to cook garlic bread in the oven. Papa timed for 2 hours straight while we took Eli home early. We ate at a vegetarian restaurant (so good) and Eli and Joe got a haircut with a good barber while enjoyed a 2 mile spring walk through downtown. It was so pleasant. We also got some ice cream and that was ridiculously good. So glad to be together.

April 5- SSHS Swim Meet Go Maria Go!

 

March 14- Six Flags Snow in the Mountain Trip

Maria got to spend 7 hours on a bus that was chaining up to go over the pass during a snow storm. She had a blast with friends and a great meet!! She has made wonderful friends from the swim team and we really like her coaches!!

 

March 7- SSHS Fernley Meet

Maria's team is 2-0. They are doing great, thanks in part to their large size. They definitely flex on the other schools with their beautiful parkas too. Maria did the 100 and 50 free. She also did a relay at the end and enjoyed the slide as they waited for their school bus. Elijah came and took pictures and knew all the older kids from the piranhas. He felt pretty special I think.

 

Feb. 9- Valentine's Minden Meet

We have to split up now. Papa takes the afternoon with Ella and we do the morning with Elijah. Chase spent the night and we had a lovely time watching the boys support each other and all their friends while trying their best! We ate at the Carson Valley Inn (do not recommend) and had a peaceful morning. Ella took high point!! So proud of our children staying healthy!!

 

Nov 10.- NV State Swim Championships

The kids did spectacular. We are so proud of them for being healthy, trying their best and having positive attitudes. It was also a good lesson in making sure we eat to fuel our bodies. God bless PAPA for helping our family to be healthy!!!!!!!!!!!!
