I can't believe how lucky I am to be able to go to my Yaiya's homeland with my whole family. It is one of the greatest joys in my life. Our last night in Athens (we had pepped up since the mugging) was beautiful. Sidewalk cafe with a view of the acropolis. Delicious food. Everyone happy.
We had planned to go to Eli's besties place in Larrisa Station.. Elio's. After all, Eli had told him he would return from America for his steak. Alas. It was CLOSED. We ended up taking the metro closer back and found a beautiful restaurant with a super nice waitress. It was packed and the music was beautiful. We walked to Little Kook for dessert. It's the funnest place on earth. This time around- the theme was Snow White!! We thoroughly enjoyed the warm night, the twinkling lights, and the sounds of Athens in the summer.
