Christina's 10th Birthday- Frozen!!

They even had costumes to match!

I think almost every little girl loves Frozen, so I wasn't surprised when Christina requested this for her birthday!

 

We had otter pops for favors that they could take home and "freeze".

 

Papa was Ella's best friend at the party. They played and played.

 

Christina had requested a giant glass to put her sundae in.

 

We had pizza and build your own sundaes.

 

We made snowman necklaces, "in summer" flip flops, and snow mitten bookmarks.

 

We played stuff the snowmen. Yaya had blown up 50 balloons!! The kids loved tossing them in the air and then popping every single one!

 

The girls loved making shaving cream ice castles.

 

We played another game where they drew a snowman on top of their head and then we ate. Time just flew by!

 

I'm not really sure how long Eli "hung out" by the topping trays! But it for sure was a lovely time with wonderful company. Our place was trashed!! It's almost my favorite part seeing the destruction.

 

Christina was really happy, everyone was happy. We are so blessed.

 

Elijah loves his ABC's!!!

 

It took us a month, but Eli finally finished all his letters! He loved working on them!! Now we'll put them into a book for him, just like sissies!

Christina's Birthday Bucket List

Christina’s 10th Birthday List

1.   Breakfast: French toast, and bagels with cream cheese
2.   Go to park
3.   Color horse, dolphin, and narwhal pictures
4.   Have a witch fashion show
5.   Invite Nikki over to play
6.   Paint a picture
7.   Have lunch: lemon pasta and pineapple
8.   Go swimming
9.   Go to Easy Air

10. Have dinner at home and for dessert Carmel popcorn with a candle in it

We were able to do most of these things and even squeeze in a trip to

Boomtown! I believe that we should have at least one day a year where we do what we want to do and enjoy each others company!!

 

We headed over to the park that we could see the temple. It was smokey, but not too bad. The weather was gorgeous.

  

 

I wanted a "sisters picture", but Eli was deeply concerned that he wasn't in the picture. He kept repeatedly jumping in and saying "BOY!!!!!"

 

Boomtown!! It's been 6 years. We had the whole place to ourselves for 3 hours.

 

It was  great deal. For $10 you get unlimited rides, $2 in game tokens, and free miniature golf.

 

Ella was such a good baby. I was lucky no one was there so I could breastfeed in peace.

 

They were very excited to turn in their tickets for prizes. Boomtown needs to update their system... our token cards kept getting stuck.

 

I was really surprised. Eli loved golfing and did really well getting the ball into the hole.

 

This!! This was the ride. They were on it for 40 minutes straight. There was a deaf Asian lady who was enamored with Eli's squeals of delights. She was working the ride and wouldn't let them get off. At first I thought it might have been a language barrier thing, but she was just hard of hearing. Finally though, it was time for a potty break.

 

We rode the carousel quite a few times.

 

Sweet baby!!! She slept about 30 minutes total the whole day, but

 was happy as a lark. We also ate at Boomtown and to our delight the very nice waitresses gave Christina a piece of chocolate cake and sang to her.

 

After 3 hours at Boomtown we headed to EZ Air. The kids lasted 50 minutes and were exhausted by the end.

 

At home we had lemon pasta and enjoyed some caramel popcorn, as per request. Christina said, "This was the very best day of my life and the very best birthday ever."

She is such a beautiful girl. I adore her more than words can say.

It was such a special day, filled with special souls.

Truly, I am so blessed.
