I don't know why we are doing these. But we are.
Psalms 145:2 "Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever."

50% Capacity
Sand Harbor has tons of parking... and yet we cant go because of social distancing. Fortunately Zephyr Cove is just as beautiful.
The older girls were at sleepovers, so it was just the littles. A very peaceful and happy afternoon.
We are blessed.

Gas is Cheap
When you can go to Lake Tahoe for $5... you end up there quite a bit. We had a lovely time with Ram and kiddos.
At one point she got a disturbing text. She was so calm and peaceful about. She is such a light to me. It's amazing how she was able to handle the situation and keep positive. I'm so proud of her. Of her courage, of her outlook, and how she does it all.
She is my hero.

Friends are such blessings... Social Distancing at the beach with plenty of room
We had such a GREAT 4 hours with our friends. It felt like 5 minutes. The lake was stunning, weather just right, and we only had to be talked to by 2 police men.
Because seriously, when we have 6 in our family and they have 9 in theirs... yeah, it turns into a big group. So we just spread out and it wasn't a problem.
We are so blessed to have them in our lives. Keyonna is a sister to me and our kids are truly best friends! And thank goodness for little boys... I don't know what Eli and S were doing, but those squirrels didn't come back for our food!!

Quarantine Week 1
I'm not going to lie, we were going at break neck speed. This at home business gettin' paid is NICE. Granted I haven't started online teaching and trying to balance my responsibilities as a mother... but hopefully it will all work out with God's help.
We've done fort grand openings. That day was a bit much for me.
Creation of car city. Complete with remote control car destruction. And rebuild.
Jody was really nice to come to school with me so I could get the rest of the things I needed for "online" teaching. We headed to Target after and miracle of miracles we found the last classic monopoly and yahtzee.
While we were at it we picked up a light bright and the kids have been using it nightly to make art.
We had a tea party, very proper with some delish macarons. We were going to watch Emma on Amazon Prime but it was $20. Instead we watched King Julian's manners episode.
We've done lego building races where Eli says he won but we actually TIED.
Monopoly games, tears, heartache and glory.
Walks with Daddy, catch, and the game of 500.
We've had food, toilet paper, and health. We are lucky. Today was a global fast for those effected by the COVID-19. I was glad to be a part of it. I have a hard time fasting but today went by quickly and I felt very humbled. I got to catch up with my sister in Southern Utah whom I love so dearly. I am blessed.
